Thanks for your warm response to the first email. Please note that this is the address from which all future newsletters will come, so be sure to open them and read everything. This will be the easiest and most efficient way of keeping everyone informed about what is going on.
I will send out the newsletter every Tuesday, so if representatives from each committee will get information to me by 6:00 each and every Monday night, I will see that it will get updated in the newsletter. Or, if you have news you want to share, let me know. You are all newsletter reporters - I am only the editor!
Thanks,
Linda Ray Miller

You Asked For It!
Several of you have asked for a survey on values. Others have said we need more information on the types of neighborhoods we want. And the Communications Committee wants to know the best way to communicate with you.
So, I have devised a survey. Please follow this link and fill out this short, ten question survey. This will help immensely on several levels.

Agenda for Next Meeting
Earlier this week you received an email with the agenda for Sunday's meeting. However, that agenda ran 2 hours and 20 minutes. It was pointed out that we had earlier agreed to keep meetings to one hour.
Everything on the agenda is important and deserves input from everyone. However, if we all work together and do our part, we can keep the meeting to one hour.
The following reports MUST be on ProBoards (see below) by Thursday night, September 29. Each committee needs to consult its members and agree on who will post the report. Be sure you read the original agenda to see what questions the Process Committee recommended be answered in your report. Then, please post your report under "Meeting Notes and Minutes". Be sure to put the date of your report in the title of your post. If you have any trouble, please contact Jack, Linda Ray, Rebecca, or Diana. All have posted successfully in the past.

Members should read all of the reports online before arriving at the meeting (there is no accessible wifi at the church). You can comment and ask questions on ProBoards. However, if you wait until Sunday morning, there is a chance no one will be able to answer your question before the meeting.
If we all do our homework, we will be able to keep the meeting to one hour (or less). Sallie has revised the original agenda to make it come out to 54 minutes (6 minutes to spare). Click here for a copy.
Speaking of ProBoards
If you have not been to ProBoards yet, you should check it out. On ProBoards we can post information that we wish to share with all members, as well as prospective members. Because of the delicacy of real estate negotiations, we will not be posting notes about the various properties we are considering, lest the price go through the roof. However, we can and should post other notes and information. There is even a way for you to add comments and ask questions about the documents. AND there is a "Getting to Know You" site where you can read about other members and post your own information. We can transfer much of this information to our new website once it is formed. Check it out!

Once you are on the home page, you will need to register in order to leave comments or ask questions. To find the reports you must read before our meeting, you will need to go to "Progress Reports" and then "Meeting Notes and Minutes".
SOCIALS!!!
Come this Saturday - October 1 - to the Regions Free Day of Music at the Schermerhorn. For a complete schedule click here Be sure to come at 5:15 in the main Concert Hall to hear Nashville in Harmony, Nashville's only gay, lesbian, transgender, bisexual, and straight community chorus. Linda Ray is a Founding Member and MAT is a member of the Fifth Section (those non-singing helpers who make sure we get onstage).
